It’s the return of Before The Noise – the beer and food pairing event to end them all – including 7 drinks and 5 courses of delicious food taking place in Dead Centre Brewing, Custume Pier, Athlone, Co. Westmeath on Friday Jan 30th, 2026. For this event, we’re thrilled to be working with our friends at Taste of Westmeath and each course will feature a fantastic local food producer such as Killucan Honey, Magico Bakery, Balliskeen House Artisan Produce, Fore Distillery, Greene’s Free Range Eggs, Dead Centre Brewing, Killucan Honey, An Olivia Chocolate, The Irish Craft Soda Company, Killua Castle, Love Food, Our Creamery, Breadelicious Organic Bakery and more.

Each and every course is brand new and none feature on the current Dead Centre menu. The drinks will include some old favourites, some seasonal beers as well as at least one beer brewed specifically for Before The Noise.

• As this is a set menu, we may not be able to cater to all dietary requirements. Please contact us before purchasing tickets if you have any queries in relation to allergens or other specific dietary requirements.
• Some tables, depending on final numbers, may be shared – but it will lend to the experience…trust us!
• There are 5 food courses and 7 drinks. Your first and last drink will not be paired with a dish. Think of them as an aperitif and a digestif.
